Join us for a 45 minute online webinar exploring the three Numicon intervention/catch-up programs; Numicon Intervention Program, Breaking Barriers and Big Ideas. This session is designed for both schools new to Numicon and schools who have already participated in Numicon PD and are interested in using a Numicon program in an intervention/catch-up setting.

ONLINE - NUMICON INTERVENTION PROGRAM
4 x 3hr sessions - LIMITED NUMBERS

• Session 1: Tuesday 14th May 2024 - 9.30am to 12.30pm AEST
• Session 2: Tuesday 21st May 2024 - 9.30am to 12.30pm AEST
• Session 3: Tuesday 18th June 2024 - 9.30am to 12.30pm AEST
• Session 4: Tuesday 25th June 2024 - 9.30am to 12.30pm AEST

Cost: $475 including the NIP manual and £ 93.50 GBP for the Numicon Intervention online subscription available through Oxford University Press -  (we will help to arrange this) + optional $45 Online PD Resources pack.

The Numicon Intervention Program has been developed to support maths intervention for children aged 6+ working at Years 1 to 3 curriculum levels. The intervention lasts 12 weeks, with 2 or 3 lessons a week, depending upon pupils' needs.

This course, delivered over 4 x three hour sessions and is specifically designed for those who will be delivering the program to the children.

ONLINE - Numicon Big Ideas for Intervention - (Incorporating Introduction in yrs 3-6)

Join us for two three hour live online webinars exploring the Numicon Big Ideas resources and Numicon in years 3 to 6. These sessions are designed for teachers who are new to Numicon and are interested in learning how these resources could support their students from ages 9 and up with learning difficulties or gaps in Maths in an intervention or classroom setting. The Big Ideas resource is also suitable for supporting lower secondary students who have gaps in their learning. We will explore how Numicon supports student learning in providing a strong visual representation of yr 3-6 concepts.

Big Ideas is a program of 48 lessons for 9-12 year olds, and above if required, ideally delivered across 12 weeks, that develops secure understanding of key concepts using an active and practical approach. Sessions are delivered across these big ideas; Number and Place Value, Adding and Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing. Fractions and Working with fractions decimals and percentages.

ONLINE - Numicon Breaking Barriers - TOP UP PD
