Numicon Intervention Program (NIP) online PD sessions
The Numicon Intervention Program has been developed to support maths intervention for children aged 7+ working at Foundation to early Year 3 curriculum levels. The intervention program with students lasts 12 weeks, with 3 to 5 lessons a week, depending upon pupils' needs.
This PD is for schools that are seeking a structured Intervention program where a dedicated Intervention teacher has been allocated to deliver intervention to students. If you require more information on our three catch-up / Intervention options including Breaking Barriers and Big Ideas, please email Rachel at rachel@skyrocketmaths.com.au.
This course is specifically designed for those who will be delivering the program to the children and is delivered either online or face-to-face;
- ONLINE : delivered over 4 x three hour sessions (see below) and
- FACE-TO-FACE - delivered over 2 days
Hands-on activities are also included in the program. We recommend for those participating in the online sessions that, if you don't already have Numicon resources at your school to access for the PD, you may wish to purchase the $47 Online PD Resources pack that includes resources to be used in the sessions.
